Our client, one of the biggest multinational FMCG is currently looking for a highly potential candidate for the position of:


Industrial Relations Manager     Post Date: 25 Mar 09

Responsibilities:

·        Build relationship with the government institution at the national level such as Departemen Tenaga Kerja, P4P.

·        Set strategic direction and create new concept of labor management relation that balance the Assist in establishing work rules (e.g. working agreement or KKB, JAMSOSTEK, etc) and monitor their application and implementation to ensure fairness and consistency (for union and non-union environments).

·        Communicate and ensure understanding by employees of laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

·        Implement employee relations program (e.g. grievance and disciplinary policies) that will create a positive organizational culture.

·        Follow through employee complaints regarding employment practices.

·        Participate in collective bargaining activities, including contract negotiation and administration.

·      Design employee relations programs that will create a positive organizational culture.

·        Promote, monitor, and measure the effectiveness of employee relations activities.

·        Develop grievance and disciplinary policies and procedures to ensure fairness and consistency.

·        Adjust/customize corporate-wide industrial relation policies to the local environment.

 

Requirements:

1. Male/Female, max. 38 years old

2. At least 5 years in HR realms including 3 years in related experience (Industrial Relations Manager / Factory HR Manager)

3. Sound knowledge in managing Industrial Relations in the factory, preferably from consumer goods industry

4. Experienced in dealing with labor union and handling labor disputes

5. Good and strong network with the government

6. Tough, persistent, firm, high integrity, good leadership, good communication skill

7. Good english is a must

8. Willing to be located at Karawang area
